Star Clippers serves French Open package
The specialist tall-ship line has announced a French Riviera sailing paired with daytime session tickets for the French Open in Paris
Tall-ship cruise line Star Clippers has confirmed details of a French Riviera sailing paired with much sought-after French Open daytime session tickets.
The tennis tournament takes place at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris and the 10-night package, which begins on May 31, 2023 offers a three-night pre-cruise stay at Paris’ Plaza Tour Eiffel Hotel, followed by a seven-night round-trip from Cannes on the 166-passenger barquentine Star Clipper.
It includes daytime session tickets for the main Philippe-Chatrier court on June 1, as well as Pavilion Grandstand Hospitality, access to the private rooftop terrace, a Roland-Garros gift and refreshments.
Ports of call on board Star Clipper, which departs from Cannes on June 3, include Portoferraio (Elba), Alghero (Sardinia), Ajaccio (Corsica) and Monaco (France). Return flights and non-UK transfers are included.
The partnership comes after the popularity of the line’s Rome Ryder Cup package which took place in September 2022 and saw an Amalfi Coast sailing combined with the golf tournament.
